Baby Items and Labor day bag

I prepared a spreadsheet which has all the items for the ;labor day. We both have to start shoping and keeping read the whole bag. See below

Last Sunday on 22nd April me and Anu discussed about required items for baby and me after delivery and highlighed lot of items. Everything seems new to me. Without Anu I couldnt able to figure it out. Yesterday Anu gave me lot of baby realted stuff and thoese are the req once after baby is born, so we saved lot of money on them

Atleast from today we should start the shopping
In our list the things which we have to buy are

. Car seat and stroller
. Crib Mattress Set.

Thats all as of now which are big items. Thought of buying baby gym but Anu already gave us.
Neela is giving us crib and swing which is jungle theeme , Anu gave jungle theeme gym and she is giving jungle theeme bouncer. So the theeme for our baby is decided without any option. Lets see :)

33 Weeks - 4/24/12- 7 more weeks to go :)

Hey I finished 33 weeks already. I just have 7 more weeks to go. Which mean not even 2 months.
I am so exited and overwelmed.

How big is my Baby:

How is the baby changing:

• Yesterday, I was not feeling well, I didnt go to work and went to the doc and ultrsound. Baby weighs 4p 9ou. Exact weight.
• The big news this week is lung development—baby's respiratory system is almost completely mature. That means if your baby was born this week, odds are he'd be a healthy bouncing baby with a just a little help from his friends. But Ofcorse I want my baby to be in my tummy until 40 weeks :)
• Your baby can now detect light and tell the difference between night and day. If you shine a flashlight on your belly, your baby may shy away from the light as if to say, "Cut it out, Ma. You're soooo annoying."
• The bones in your baby's skull are soft and are not yet fused together
• Your baby will continue to pack on the pounds gaining around ½ pound a week from here on out.
•  approximately 17.5 inches long is your baby now.

How am I changing:

• Yes I am changing, Once feel very big,Once feel my belly down.
• I cant get up from the bed so soon,I cant trun from one side to the other side in the night
• Since 3 days I am having crampings, Doc said its becoz of the growth in my belly.
• My Belly shakes and feels like waves waves and so many waves. My baby doesnt stop for a movement , he or she mpoves all the times and I love that :)
• Lots of strech marks all over my belly.
• Feeling so tierd these days.

Highlights:

• I prepared Labor bag check list.
• Baby items to buy now.
• yesterday Anu gave me soooo many things like Baby gym, lots of diapers, bouncer, Nipple pads, creams, Baby burp sheets, Baby water proof sheets , rocking chair, breast feeding pillow , Back balance pillow for me and many many more. She saved lot of money :)
• I told to baby that ammama and thathaya are coming , they got visa , came to know yesterday at 3:30 AM
• Yesterday I had ultrasound and baby moves so much. This time I couldnt see the baby face properly :( and didntget the pic
• Heart beat as usula 150.
• My cervix length 3 cm. and cervix is closed. Doc office lady called me today and said everythintg looks normal and good. But I am getting some pain cramoings and she said its becoz of belly growth.
• Booked Hospital tour on May 2nd
• Crampings and contracttions comes and goes.
• Over all Baby is healthy

32 Weeks :) 17 April 2012. 8 more to go

Wow! I am already 32 weeks. Thats what I was telling to krishna yesterday, I am already 32 weeks. Days are moving so fast. I heard from many saying that days move very slow during last days of pregnacy.
It feels overwelming to think about the delivery day.

I know when I used to think about pregnancy I used be afraid before, Now I can do it. In the same way I can also be well and strong during labor.

How big is my baby:

Changes in my baby:

• By now, your baby weighs 3.75 pounds and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space in your uterus.
•  s/he'll gain a third to half of her birth weight during the next 7 weeks as s/he fattens up for survival outside the womb.
•  S/he now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). Her/His skin is becoming soft and smooth as she plumps up in preparation for birth.
•  baby is practicing survival skills like sucking and breathing, while your uterus is practicing some Braxton Hicks contractions.
• My baby is just practicing practicing and practicing now.

Changes in me:

• My Baby is moving so much. I feel as if the waves are moving in my belly
• Sometimes I can feel baby legs and hands I guess., Some small bump raises,some times a big one.
• Sugar is normally in control , sometimes below 130 and sometime lil above 130
• Strech marks are killing me soooooo danm itcy. I cant bear that. I dont know how I am going to pass these 8 more weeks without scraching.I heard that the belly will be itcy even after delivery and I should not scrach. :(. This is abig tourture in whole pregnancy.
• Yesterday I saw some while coming out , i was afarid thinking that it is mucus plug,But now I am doing good so its not that.
• Some fears all the time comes and goes.
• Nights I have to get up min of 3 to 4 times for bathroom.
• I am hungry during midnights and I had to eat , atelast to keep my ketonix level as neg.
• Me and krishna discussing about Birth plan, house moving, hospital tours, baby stuff shopping etc. So we are finally in that mood as Krishna is finally all set and his H1B got approved and he is starting to work from tomorrow.
• I am getting contractions quite frequently, thats when my belly becomes so tight and it stays for few sec, I cant bear that sometimes  

April 13th 2012

Hi Baby,

Pappa finally got his H1 b approved. We are so happy. He can join in the job from Monday or tuesday depending on the date what TJX wants.

We dont have to go back to India. We will buy you so many things, nothing will be less for you. We can also move to the 2 BR apt. I love you baby. You are our lucky charm
So now we both have fulltime and we can stay near to the house and we 3 can spend good time together. I promise you that we both will spend our time and life for you.

I cant wait for that day.

Happy days already started. Thank Lord Venkateshwara. In each and every step we need to pray HIM , He will give what ever we want. I always say this to you , I hope you listen to this my dear baby darling.

bhagavatam 15th April 2012

Today Morning Ramanujam annaya(from NJ) came with Sharada to my house and he brought few important Bhagavatm poems and read infront of us and expplained with meaning each and every leela.
I am so happy.

4. Gopala bala spending time and playing
5. Govardhana giri
6. Kaaliya mardhanam

So beautiful. I loved each and everything. I hope my baby also listened to that.

ChildBirth Class- April 16th. -31 weeks 4 days

Me and Krishna went to child birth class today. The class was from 12:30 to 4o clk. It was a free class.
The trainer was very good. She gave lot of information. Its really worth going.
There were around 10 pregs. One has same due date as mine. Each one has diff belly shapes.

After the class I understood that, by taking epidrual there wont be any side effects like back pain later, but when epidrual is given we cant move so much or walk, but to lye on the bed with IV on hand, pipe for urine and epidrual wire in the back. Should drink water. Its so annouing but it reduces pain , so I dont know how it goes.

After the class me and krishna started discussing about different birth plans. I will have lot of q? to ask doc.

1. Can I wear my own dress during delivery instead of hospital dress
2. How does the epidrual help/
3. Can I deliver without epi is it so painful?

I need to book an appointment for hospital tour also.

Over all attending the class is verymuch useful an I will recommend to other pregs

Pappa Feeding me mango :)

Yesterday, Night I was so hungry and I didnt want to eat yougurt or bar. So Krishna brough a mango into bedroom. He didnt allow me to touch coz again I have to clean my hands. I was sleeping on bed and started feeding me. How Sweet! I love you krishna.

You are the best hubby in this whole world and you are my life. Ofcorse my baby too :)

31 Weeks -10th April 2012

Today I finished 31 weeks. I know days are moving fast, But I am still counting the days to see my little cute sweet baby.

How big is my Baby:

Updates:

• Baby is using 5 sences now. S/He's now processing information, tracking light, and perceiving signals from all five senses.
• baby weighs more than 3 pounds and is 11 inches long from crown to rump.
•  baby's reproductive system continues to develop.
• Some times I feel lot of baby movement and sometimes the baby sleeps. He's also putting in longer stretches of sleep
•  Mine will be one of the very first scents my baby breathes in, a scent that will quickly become his or her very favorite. So lovely . Awww baby I love you so much.
• So what's my little dove doing all day while I am  busy feathering the nest for his or her arrival? Making faces, hiccupping, swallowing, breathing, pedaling with little hands and feet along my uterine wall, and even sucking his or her thumb. In fact, some babies suck their thumbs so vigorously while in the womb that they're born with a callus on their thumb (what a little sucker!).

How am I changing:

• While sleeping I am snorings so much. Ofcorse I dont do everyday lol
• I cant getup so easily from bed.
• blood sugars are changing so much, ones up and ones down. Couldnt keep the track. and frequent visits to diabetic center which is of no use. They suggested insulin if my levels are not good. Lets see
• My belly button has become black, and belly grew with so much of red strech marks on my belly and breast as well
• My belly is soooooo itcy, I cant control
• I am having so super sleep every day, My baby didnt wake me up so much since last week, which made me to think why why why? But I know S/he is healthy and doing good.
• I always feel my baby at my belly button so hard, I am not sure if its his head or butt. I love you baby.

Updates:

Athaya and mamaya went to NJ this week during weekend, So me and krishna are alone. Managing work but sharing things and seeing baby movements so clearly Love that.

At work one stupid lady says my belly looks big
Two other ladys say , I look small So I dont know
Today I had doc appt with new Doc Ann Dolff. She measured my belly and said I am perfect
Baby heart rate: 150
My Weight: 176. 4

Celebrated Krishna's birthday. He was surprised by the gifts. I liked the video , but not in the begining lol.
I loved all the newborn dresses.

Last sunday we went to Babies r us and did window shopping and saw all the things needed for the baby.

I brought a belly belt which I will return anyways , its not so comfortable

Thats all I remember as if now.

30 Weeks -3 Apr 2012

A mile stone. Sucessfully complete 30 weeks. I still have 10 more weeks to go. Day by day I am becoming heavy and hungry all the time.

How big is my baby:

How is my baby changing?

• From last week Baby starts gaining ½ pound every day.
• Baby’s brain develops every week
• And now that your little genius can regulate his own body temperature and turn up the heat
• s/he'll start shedding lanugo, the downy body hair that's been keeping him warm up

Highlights

• Stronger fetal activity: I can feel my  baby moving every day — sometimes with a punch or a kick (My itty-bitty boxer is getting stronger!), other times with a wiggle or a stretch. I  can also feel more activity after I have a snack or meal and  when you’re lying down.Every day after lucnh, dinner, snack and more during night at around 12 to 12:30.At that time baby is super duper active. S/he kicks me so much , punches me. I know s/he is playing a lot.
• I read somewhere that baby cries now and even the tears also comes when the baby cries Aww! Why do you wanna cry my dear.
• Occasional faintness or dizziness: It’s a common pregnancy symptom. Yes I feel dizzy sometimes , as if I have low sugars even after eating.Not sure if it is because I am eaing less or it’s a common symptom
• Stretch Marks: Day by Day I can see more stretch marks ,like pinkish/reddish lines on my belly and breast. It burns sometimes on the belly.So itchy. I am bascally poring oil and cream on the marks where every its itchy.
• Actually , as my belly is growing it touches to my thighs when I sit. When ever this happens I feel itchy and burning.  
• I told baby names to athaya , she liked Akshara for Girl but She didn’t like Eshaan for Boy. Mostly we will go with’Eshaan Krishna’ itself
• Prepared a video for Krishna's B'day ,completely from Baby.
• Got 4 baby dresses with daddy captions , Krishna's b'day gift. OMG! they are so small...I was surpirsed after seeing them

How am I changing internally:

Thank God I don’t have heart burn or Constipation , instead going 3 times a day J

Except feeling hungry all the time and contractions once in a while I don’t have any others.
