25 Weeks - 28-Feb-12

Heyyyy! Its 25 weeks now. less than 100 days :). I will take a belly shot pic today in the evening. 

Doctor Change

My doc Swati chokalingam is no more,I knew this when I was in India. I know its bad. I just met her only once after I became pregnant. Next I met a doc named Matta. I checked her in St Elizabeth website but I didn't find her. As I got new job now in Nov I decided to change the doc. I asked lot of them. But I was in dilemma.

I was just browsing and I found this. Recently I signed into few free baby website, the main aim is to get free diapers. But I enrolled into a lot so that I get baby talk books, simlac etc. Not sure how much I will get now. I got them earlier. I found the below info interesting 

Fundal Height-Belly Size

I just read online , actually in one of the blog that the distance from the top of the uterus to the pubic bone measured in centimeters. It should match the number of weeks you are in pregnacy (24 weeks = 24 centimeters). 

On 13th Feb , During 22 weeks 6 days, When I went to the doc, she measured my belly and said loos good. I didnt know whats the logic behind it, ofcorse I know its to measure the belly but the fact is as above. So its good I knew about this. Later if I want to measure by selves I can do it just for fun :). I know the Doc does this everytime when I go and meet her.

Changes in me - Pregnancy symptoms

Changes in pregnancy is common and I know about it. Updates by 24 weeks 2 days 

Growing Belly: My belly is growing and still grows until I am 40 weeks. How sweet. Me and Krishna used to think about think about this all the time and it came true :) .During early pregnancy even though my paints didnt fit me, I never used feel that my belly has grown. I thought its my actual belly hehe. But every day I used to check in the mirror if I got any bump ??? But 3rd month, I started showing up. I used to hide my belly by wearing loose tops , long tops and scarfs. By the time I am 4months , if I wore night I didnt show much but if I wore t shirts, it was clear. By the time I went to India dduring 5th month, I belly was on top. I had my baby shower India during 20 weeks + . I know most of them thought my belly is big. Sririsha actaully shouted infornt of everyone saying' Your baby has grown by 5th month itsself etc'; Lakshmi pinni was like, are you in your 8th month....Akkaya's athha goes, Your belly is on top, Deepu's is also of same way ....Ofcorse I didnt like the way ppl told all these things...

How did we announce the news

10/20/2011: We didnt share the news with any until we both went to the first ultra sound. As per my calculation I was in my 7  weeks, but when I went to the ultrasound scan , she said I am 6 weeks 2 days and the baby heart beat was 161b/m. Thats it????its the same though we both had. On the same day, while returning to home by car , I called mom and dad , I told them, get ready with the gold bowls.Mom and dad both understood and they said wow....Mom and dad both are so happy. 

12 weeks 3 days -Dec 2nd 2011

Today , Dec 2^nd 2011. I had ultra sound. I am 12 weeks 3 days today. I was so tensed and excited at the same time. The time given for me was at 1:30. We waited and I felt so impatient. Finally they called my name. Me and Krishna we both went . I holded krishna’s hand so tight. The lady kept some jell on my belly and kept the detector or something ….Oh My Goddddddd, Oh My Babyyyyyyyyyyyyy. Me and Krishna we both can see our little babies face so clearly. Baby opened his/her mouth and closed as if he is chewing…so lovely.

Feb 21st - 24 Weeks

Hurrayyyyy! Successfully completed 24 weeks i.e 6 months. Can you believe it. I have a baby in my beautiful belly :) Love you babyyy....

How Big is my little darling : about 8 inches long, close to the length of a banana, and weighs about 1-1/2 pounds.During my last ultra sound , my baby was 1 p 7 oz. I am thinking my darling has gain some more weight.

Boy Names or Girl Names?

Even before the pregnancy , actually even before the my marriage I used to think about my baby's names.
Earlier before pregnancy me and krishna used to think, Boy name is Arjun and Gal name is Adithi. But now we feel the names are very old. I wanted to name my baby as Krishna for sure. But I cant add Krishna name after Arjun, so thats not any more option. Adithi is still in the list.

Maternity Clothes

In the begining , during 8 to 10 weeks, my paints didnt fit me. I couldnt buy maternity clothes, coz they will be loose. I tried managing wearing leggings, streachable paints etc.
At around 14 weeks , as my new office started I wanted formal paints, and nothing fitted me so me and Krishna both went to Macys and bought 2 formals. OMG they are so expensive.
1 paints was $ 36 and other was around $ 32. Paints thats all I took until today(Iam 23 weeks + now)

Today Morning at 7:15 am , We have flight. Me and Athaya we both had to go. Morning when I was doing pooja, My belly started moving. I felt the baby kicking and felt as if there are strocks from inside to outside. today is the first day , My baby is going away from my his papa. Papa I miss you a lotttt.
But I am happy that at list pappa could feel the baby. Flight journey was ok, My feet started to swell a little bit. I walked a lot. I was horribly suffering from bad cold. Cant even breath properly.

23 Weeks

14-Feb-2012: 23 weeks:

Today is Val day. I miss Krishna so much. Yesterday at 12 0 clk of his time I wished him. He wished me today morning. They are going to Thirumala. I got ready to work, I didnt were read, I got ready and came to office. I feel to cry :(. While comming I told and explained everything to atthaya and came to work . Drive was fine. I met Gina, thq God she aske dto me to go to training so I will have 1 month training at work. Greg was teaching, I have my lappy. My baby was moving so much. I really enjoyed baby movement in the class I tried to listen , but I didnt listen :) I was continuly thinking about my baby. Checked online updated about 24 weeks.

During morning at around 5:30 am
Morning while I was reading Hanuman Chalisa for sure
After eating some times
Perfectly at 2:30 in the afternoon i.e excalty at 12 o lck mid night in India , When I was in India baby used to move so much exacly between 10 to 12 to 12:30 :)

Night and evenings some times, Didnt observe the time :)

How did I tell to Pappa-Sep 30th 2011

That was Friday Sep 30th 2011. The most beautiful and unforgettable day in my life. Morning I woke up. My last period date was Aug 29th, but still I thought I will take a pregnancy test. Papa didn't get up until then.

I took the test and the result was positive right away with no gap. I couldn't believe my eyes. My eyes were full of water. I was still on the toilet seat, seeing the test result, wiping out my tears, but still water from my eyes never stop :)
